About this event

Our outlook on life isn’t set in stone at birth. Meditation provides the tools we need to gradually shift our perspective until, ‘glass half full’ becomes our normal way of thinking.

Even better, meditation helps us to optimise our way of handling the challenges of life, so our positive outlook is more than just wishful thinking, it’s a practical method to fulfill our hopes and wishes.

This event will include guided meditation and an uplifting talk on this topic. Everybody is welcome!

Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers & community celebration

12:15pm - 3:30pm

After Kadam Bridget’s talk it’s back to Jangchub Ling Centre to get ready for the afternoon celebrations. We’ll put on some snacks before prayers to keep our bellies happy, and at 12:15 Kadam Bridget will join us for Offering to the Spiritual Guide prayers. With these prayers we will say thank you to our Founder and Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for giving us all the opportunities we find at Jangchub Ling Centre.

We will also create powerful good karma together for Jangchub Ling to flourish and help countless more people in the future. The prayers will finish at about 2pm when we will all go through to our cafe to enjoy food, refreshments and each others’ company.

We hope you can join us for this wonderful event.
