Curry & Calm

Community Event

With short presentation on International Kadampa Festivals

Saturday, 8th November

About this event

Local becomes international with this fundraising social. Our community is coming together to enjoy some tasty food in support of the International Temples Project, an international charity dedicated to world peace. World peace starts in our own mind, ripples out to our family and friends, and then to our local and international communities. In a similar way we will start with a simple, relaxing meditation, then enjoy a meal with our community, before connecting to the wider, global, community with a presentation on International Kadampa Festivals and what to expect at these relaxing spiritual holidays. There will be a chance to mix with and chat informally with people who already attend Kadampa Festivals to get their personal take on the experience. We hope you can make it.
